How Do I Place an Ad?
Before placing an Ad
1) Before creating an Ad you must first be logged into your account.
2) Ensure your billing details are entered in and up to date.
a) To edit/view your billing details click on your name on the top right corner of the page.
b) Select “My Profile” from the drop-down menu.
c) Click “Billing Setting” on the left-hand side under “My Account”.
d) Fill in or edit each field and click “Update”.
3) A Two Factor Authentication Box will appear, if you would like to turn on two factor authentication follow the steps shown in the popup box. If you do not want two factor authentication simply click the x on the top of the pop up box.
4) If old credit card information is visible at the bottom of the screen click “Verify” and confirm Payment. A green verified box will now appear next to the Old Card Information.
a) If the billing information is not entered in or if the old card is not verified a pop-up window will appear titled “Payment Validation Check empty info when selecting Post An Ad.
Placing an Ad
1. Login to your account.
2. Click on your name (top right-hand corner).
3. Click “My Profile” from the drop-down menu.
4. Click “Post An Ad” on the left-hand side under “My Ads”.
5. Title type is defaulted to show the title, if you would prefer to hide the title click on hide.
6. Type in the desired title for your Ad into the tile box.
7. Type in any additional text you like to include in your Ad in the Ad text box.
8. If you would like to have a clickable button on your Ad, type the desired text into the Button text box.
9. Enter in the desired URL that will re-direct once pushed on your Ad in the Button URL box.
10. Select what page you would like your Ad to appear on HE.com into the Page box.
11. Select where you would like your Ad to appear on HE.com into the Ad Position box.
12. Select the desired image you would like to use on your Ad by completing the following steps:
a. Click “Choose File” from the Sidebar Image box.
b. Select the desired image from your device and click open.
c. Click the pencil icon on the right-hand side of the image to crop and rotate then click “Save”.
d. Select the date range you would like your Ad visible for then click apply.
e. Under the image you will see a “Preview button” click on this button to see how your image will look.
f. If no changes are required, click “Submit For Approval”.
After Your Ad Has Been Submitted
1. Once your Ad has been submitted for approval it will be reviewed.
2. After your Ad has been accepted, you will be contacted by email from our support team with a quote.
3. The quote email also has a payment link or, if you prefer, you can simply log into your account and click “Pay” next to the Ad on the “My Ads” page.
Your Ad will be posted on HE.com during the dates you selected.
Requesting a Custom Ad on HE.com
1. Login to your account.
Click on “Contact Us” from the top menu bar.
Fill in the form, enter in the best email address we can use to contact you.
Enter in some details about the Ad you would like us to create.
Push Submit.
2. You will be contacted on the email address you provided us.
3. Once we have gathered all the necessary information we will provide you with a quote.
How Do I Place a Listing?
Before placing a Listing
1) Before creating a listing, you must first be logged into your account.
2) Ensure your billing details are entered in and up to date.
a) To edit/view your billing details click on your name on the top right corner of the page.
b) Select “My Profile” from the drop-down menu.
c) Click “Billing Setting” on the left-hand side under “My Account”.
d) Fill in or edit each field and click “Update”.
Placing a Listing
1. Login to your account.
2. Click on your name (top right-hand corner).
3. Click “My Profile” from the drop-down menu.
4. Click “Post A Listing” on the left-hand side under “Listing”.
5. Type in the desired title into the Listing Title box.
6. Type in the specifics and any extra details you would like to include in the Description box.
7. Select USD or CAD, enter in the number including periods, do not enter in any special characters into the Price box.
8. If applicable enter the number of hours the item has into the Hours box.
9. Enter the Model into the Model box or enter N/A if the item does not have a Model.
10. Type in the name of the Manufacturer into the Manufacturer box. By selecting a manufacturer name from the drop down list your listing may rank higher in search engines. If your manufacturer is not listed select Other. If you would like your manufacturer added to our list send an email to our support team.
11. If applicable enter the Serial# into the Serial# box.
12. Enter the Series into the Series box or enter N/A if the item does not have a Series.
13. Select the condition of the item from the drop-down menu Condition box.
14. If applicable enter the Kms/Miles of the item into the Kms/Miles box.
15. Select the category of the item from the drop-down menu Primary Category box.
16. Select the country that the item is in from the drop-down menu Country box.
17. Select the province or state that the item is in from the drop-down menu Province/State box.
18. Select the city that the item is in from the drop-down menu City box.
19. Type in the zip or postal code into the Zip/Postal Code box.
20. If desired, type in any additional information into the Add-Ons box.
21. Select the desired image you would like to use on your listing by completing the following steps:
a. Click “Choose File” from the Sidebar Image box.
b. Select the desired image from your device and click open.
c. To rotate and crop click the blue pencil on the right-hand side of the image.
d. To add additional images, repeat steps a & b.
e. Once images have been added and edited click “Submit for Approval”.
f. To check on the status of your listing go to “My Profile” then “My Listings”.

Advertising rates can be found in the "Rates" link located in the top menu bar.
How do I purchase a listed item?
Click on "Contact Seller" from within the listing and make arrangements directly with the seller. All payments through heavyequipment.com will be processed by Paypal.

I sold my item. How do I delete my listing?
Once your product is sold or leased, log in to your account to remove your listing. Please don't forget to leave feedback!
