New Takeuchi TL11R3 Compact Track Loader

Takeuchi Expands Compact Track Loader Lineup with New TL11R3

Takeuchi is adding the TL11R3 to its compact track loader lineup, bringing the number of models in the range to six.

The TL11R3 is powered by a 78.8-kW (105.7-hp) engine featuring DOC, DPF and SCR after-treatment for EPA Tier 4 and EU Stage V emissions compliance. The cab-equipped track loader weighs 5,435 kg (11,980 lbs.) and has a rated operating capacity of 1,240 kg (2,735 lbs.). Its bucket breakout force is rated at 35.4 kN (7,958 lbs.).

A radial-lift design provides the TL11R3 with the breakout force needed for grading and earthmoving applications. The loader arm also uses fewer moving components. Ground clearance measures 315 mm (12.4 in.), while 450-mm (17.7 in.) tracks, heavy-duty sealed rollers and double-reduction planetary drives make up the undercarriage.

The in-cab display allows operators to select between ISO and H-pattern controls and adjust how the arm, bucket and travel functions respond. An optional self-leveling function keeps the bucket or attachment level as the loader arm moves up and down. An arm-height limit can also be set to keep the loader arms below a predetermined height when working around overhead obstacles.

Takeuchi offers the TL11R3 with standard- or high-flow auxiliary hydraulics. The high-flow configuration produces up to 153 L/min (40.4 gpm), giving operators the hydraulic flow needed for attachments such as forestry mulchers, cold planers and stump grinders. Flow rates and attachment settings can be adjusted without leaving the cab. The TL11R3 comes with a mechanical universal quick hitch, a hydraulic option is also available. A 14-pin electrical connector is offered for compatible attachments.

The operator station includes a suspension-style seat that can be adjusted in six ways, along with an eight-inch touchscreen. Operators can use the screen to view machine information and rear camera views while also accessing Bluetooth radio, HVAC and other functions. A 270-degree rearview camera is also available to provide greater visibility around the machine. The overhead roll-up door can remain open or closed while the track loader is in operation without limiting loader arm movement.

Key engine components are protected by the lockable hood, steel rear door and integrated bumper. The rear door also gives operators access to the swing-out cooling module for easier maintenance. Machine location, usage, service status and diagnostic information can all be accessed remotely through the standard Takeuchi Fleet Management (TFM) system, helping owners stay ahead of maintenance needs. Takeuchi Access Management adds keyless starting and allows owners to manage access to the machine.
