Peterbilt Introduces Bendix® Fusion™ Stop & Auto-Go Advanced for Model 579
Denton, TX, March 10, 2025 – Peterbilt is excited to announce the availability of the Bendix® Fusion™ Stop & Auto-Go Advanced system for the Model 579.
This advanced system features an upgraded forward-facing camera and enhanced software designed to improve collision mitigation for both moving and stationary vehicles. It introduces two key new capabilities: Pedestrian Automatic Emergency Braking (PAEB) and High Beam Assist.
The Fusion system builds upon existing safety technologies, including Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), Active Cruise with Braking (ACB), and Lane Departure Warning (LDW). It also optimizes alert prioritization to help reduce driver distractions.
The Bendix® Fusion™ Stop & Auto-Go Advanced system is compatible with the PACCAR MX-11 and MX-13 engines paired with the TX-12 transmission, as well as the Cummins X15 engine paired with the Eaton Endurant 12-speed transmission.
