New Holland Construction Strengthens Mini Excavator Line with Five New D-Series Models

New Holland Construction is strengthening its footprint in the compact equipment market with the addition of five new diesel-powered D-Series mini excavators: The E12D, E19D, E30D, E38D and E60D. Designed in-house, these models join the previously introduced E42D and E50D, forming the brand’s most comprehensive mini excavator lineup to date. With the inclusion of two electric models — the E15X and E25X — the D-Series now totals nine machines, giving contractors, landscapers and rental operations more choices than ever before.

Three Size Classes. One Cohesive Lineup.

The expanded D-Series lineup now reaches across three classes, giving customers flexible sizing options while keeping features consistent across every model.

Compact Class: E12D & E19D
Compact yet capable, the E12D and E19D are well-suited for residential contractors, landscapers, rental houses, and utility crews. Their adjustable track width and minimal footprint make them ideal for confined sites. The E19D enhances versatility with optional heated cab comfort and increased hydraulic power for demanding attachments.

Mid-Size Class: E30D & E38D
Versatile and transport-friendly, the E30D and E38D are designed to handle a broad mix of contractor tasks. The 3.5-metric-ton E38D strikes a strong balance between power and portability, making it well-suited for applications ranging from utility installation and urban construction to roadside projects and light demolition. Built for easy hauling with no CDL license needed and quiet operation for urban projects, these machines balance convenience and performance. The E38D and above offer an optional six-way blade to boost grading precision.

Large Class: E60D
The E60D stands as the lineup’s large-class model, built to handle tougher assignments. With greater hydraulic performance, upscale cab features and the ability to power attachments like mulchers, it’s suited for intensive applications. Operators can also enjoy available climate control, an air-suspension seat and enhanced lighting.

Built for Capability, Comfort and Uptime

The lineup comes well equipped with standard first and second auxiliary hydraulics, pattern changers, rear-view cameras and LED work lights. Zero tail swing design enables safe operation in confined areas. Cab options are available across the range—with the exception of the E12D—providing additional comfort and protection.

The D-Series is engineered to handle a wide variety of attachments. Compatibility includes CNH-branded buckets, thumbs and couplers plus many industry-standard tools like hammers, augers, grapples, compaction plates, mowers and mulchers. On select models, a dedicated mulcher hydraulic line ensures steady high-flow power without interrupting machine performance.

The D-Series prioritizes both operator comfort and straightforward maintenance. Automotive-style cabs feature ergonomic layouts, adjustable controls and memory settings for attachment flow and pressure. For servicing, machines include tiltable cabs or canopies for easier hydraulic access, while larger units add reversible cooling fans and an electric fuel pump for simplified refueling in remote areas.

Each D-Series mini excavator also includes a seven-year telematics subscription, allowing owners and fleet managers to track machine health, location and performance at no added cost at purchase.
