New Holland Adds Three Compact Wheel Loaders to D-Series Lineup
New Holland Construction has introduced three new compact wheel loaders to its D-Series lineup. The W70D, W80D and W80D Long Reach are expected to be available in the third quarter of 2026.
The latest additions feature the redesigned cab and operator-focused updates first introduced on the W100D Compact Wheel Loader in 2025.
Inside the updated cab, joystick controls are built into the heated air-ride seat, allowing the seat and controls to move together. The multifunction joystick also controls several machine functions. A lower front console and larger windshield improve forward visibility, while a monitor built into the right-side A-pillar displays machine information. A sliding side window and door make it easier to communicate with workers outside the machine.
Operators can change attachments without leaving the cab using the hydraulic skid steer-style coupler. Compatible attachments include buckets, pallet forks, tree spades and bale spears, allowing the compact wheel loaders to be equipped for landscaping, construction, farm work, material handling and winter maintenance. Their compact size allows them to work in confined spaces and on finished landscapes where larger machines may be less practical. Depending on the attachment, they can load materials, transport supplies, handle hay, clean barns and remove snow.
The three models come equipped with ride control, cruise control, creep mode, return-to-dig, return-to-dump and return-to-travel to assist with routine operating tasks. Operators can also adjust boom and bucket response settings. Each machine features a load-sensing, flow-sharing hydraulic system and have a top travel speed of 25 mph.
A rearview camera and backup alarm come standard, along with LED lighting and an optional four-corner strobe kit.
The loaders come with seven years of connectivity through the myNewHollandConstruction platform, allowing owners to monitor machine location, operating hours, maintenance schedules and equipment health. The platform also supports geofencing, curfew settings and maintenance notifications.
