Hyundai HX210L Joins Next-Generation HX Excavator Lineup
Hyundai Construction Equipment has expanded its HX lineup with the HX210L long-track excavator. Weighing 54,900 pounds (24,900 kg), the machine features a new engine, longer maintenance intervals and updates aimed at operator comfort and safety.
New Engine and Heavy-Duty Design
The HX210L is powered by Hyundai’s DX05 engine, which produces 186 net hp (139 kW). Compared with its predecessor, the DX05 delivers 6% more torque and 7% better fuel efficiency, while using 30% less DEF.
The excavator shares its heavy-duty design with the HX230L and is equipped with a 10,800-pound (4,900-kg) counterweight. It also features added reinforcement in the upper frame, along with updates to the swing bearing and swing torque. The HX210L has a maximum digging depth of 21 feet 9 inches (6.32 m).
Longer Maintenance Intervals
Several maintenance intervals have been extended. With CK-4 engine oil, the intervals for engine oil, the engine filter and fuel filter increase from 500 to 1,000 hours. The coolant interval has also increased from 2,000 to 6,000 hours.
Comfort, Safety and Connectivity
Inside the cab, operators get a wider heated and cooled seat, along with improved ventilation. Optional packages are also available to add further comfort features.
Optional safety features include a white-noise alert that notifies workers when the excavator is operating nearby. It uses a wideband frequency that fades more quickly than conventional warning-buzzer sounds. Also available is Smart Around View Monitoring, which combines six cameras with AI technology to detect people working or moving around the excavator.
The HX210L also includes five years of Hyundai Connect service. The remote-management system brings together machine location tracking, maintenance alerts, theft-prevention tools and fleet-management features.
The machine joins five next-generation HX models that Hyundai displayed at CONEXPO-CON/AGG earlier in 2026.
