CASE Expands Mini Excavator Lineup to Boost Productivity on Compact Jobsites
CASE Construction Equipment has unveiled four new mini excavator models designed to offer more flexibility, easier transport, and powerful performance for crews working in tight, demanding environments.
The latest additions — three diesel-powered D Series machines and one electric model — expand CASE’s mini excavator range with class-leading power and multiple weight categories. These compact machines are easy to haul on a standard pickup trailer, making them ideal for jobs that demand agility without sacrificing capability.
Perfect for construction contractors, municipalities, utilities, landscapers, and specialty trades, the new lineup combines simplicity, strength, and smart features. The new models include:
CX12D: An ultra-compact 11.8 hp model
CX19D: A compact, 18.4 hp high-performance option
CX25EV: A fully electric 32.3 kWh machine
CX60D: A powerful 59.4 hp heavy-duty excavator
Each model is built for tasks like trenching, grading, site prep, truck loading, and foundation digging — with smooth maneuverability and impressive efficiency.
Small But Mighty: CX12D and CX19D
Weighing in at just 2,932 lb (1,330 kg), the CX12D is the smallest in the lineup, but delivers robust performance for tight-access jobs. Its compact footprint fits through gates and narrow paths, while its straightforward design makes it easy to use, maintain, and transport — all while supporting multiple attachments.
The slightly larger CX19D (4,145 lb / 1,880 kg) adds more power and versatility. Available with either a canopy or a heated cab, it features ergonomic controls, enhanced attachment compatibility, and is ready to tackle jobs requiring hammers, augers, compactors, or tilt-rotators.
Clean and Quiet: CX25EV Electric Mini Excavator
The CX25EV, CASE’s all-electric mini excavator, delivers zero-emissions performance without compromising power. With an operating weight of 5,159 lb (2,340 kg), this 32.3 kWh machine is ideal for noise- and emissions-sensitive environments like urban, residential, or indoor jobsites.
Originally previewed in 2024, the CX25EV is now available — offering customizable electrohydraulic controls, a short-radius design for tight workspaces, and up to three auxiliary hydraulic circuits to handle a wide range of attachments.
Heavy-Duty Power Meets Comfort: CX60D
For longer shifts and larger jobs, the 13,162 lb (5,970 kg) CX60D provides serious power in a compact 6-ton design. With a long arm, thumb-ready setup, and optional six-way blade, it's built for precise grading and heavy-duty applications. The CX60D also stands out with an automotive-style cab, complete with air-suspension seating, auto climate control, LED lighting, and an intuitive LCD display that offers real-time machine data and diagnostics.
Built for Today’s Jobsite
All new models feature zero or minimal tail swing, intuitive controls, and easy-to-access service points. Standard dual auxiliary hydraulic circuits and optional quick couplers ensure maximum attachment flexibility.
With the updated D Series — including the previously released CX42D and CX50D — CASE now offers more compact equipment solutions at competitive price points than ever before. For contractors seeking powerful, maneuverable, and easy-to-operate machines that can handle tough jobs in tight spaces, CASE’s expanded mini excavator lineup delivers.
