CASE Expands Excavator Lineup with Powerful New CX380E Crawler

CASE Construction Equipment has unveiled the new CX380E large excavator, the latest addition to its growing E Series. Weighing in at 83,114 lbs (37,700 kg) with 268 horsepower, the CX380E delivers more power, advanced functionality, and a focus on operator comfort and control.

Built for demanding work like land clearing, trenching, pipe lifting, and rock breaking, the CX380E offers the brute strength and smart hydraulics crews need to boost productivity. Rental fleets will also benefit from a dependable, versatile machine their customers can count on.

Built to Perform

With up to 56,000 lbs. of breakout force and fast cycle times, the CX380E handles heavy-duty jobs with ease. Four fuel-efficient work modes and up to 10 throttle settings let operators tailor power output to the task—whether they need maximum muscle with Super Power mode or fuel savings with Eco mode (up to 18% more efficient than previous models). CASE telematics and onboard data tools help track usage, performance, and fuel consumption for smarter operation.

Precision Control, Smarter Operation

Like all E Series excavators, the CX380E features intuitive controls and customizable responsiveness. Operators can quickly switch between attachments with stored settings for up to 10 one-way or two-way tools using the 10-inch touchscreen. CASE’s Hydraulic Flow Control Balance improves efficiency and smoothness by prioritizing flow where it’s needed—whether that's arm in and boom up or arm in and swing.

Additional control comes from the selectable free swing feature, ideal for lifting, loading, or working on uneven terrain. A 270-degree camera delivers a comprehensive bird’s-eye view on the display, enhancing jobsite visibility and safety.

Designed Around the Operator

CASE’s commitment to operator comfort is clear in the CX380E’s thoughtfully designed cab. Features include:

  • Heated, air-suspension seat
  • Spacious legroom
  • A suspended operator station that keeps the seat and controls ergonomically aligned regardless of body size

Easy Maintenance, Strong Support

CASE makes it simple to keep the CX380E running. Advanced telematics enable remote diagnostics and software updates, cutting down on downtime and service costs. Every new CX380E also comes with CASE ProCare, which includes:

  • 3-year/3,000-hour full-machine warranty
  • 3-year/2,000-hour planned maintenance
  • 5-year advanced telematics subscription

The new CASE CX380E is ready to meet the toughest demands—powerfully, efficiently, and comfortably.
