CASE Adds Trio of New Mini Excavators to D Series Lineup
CASE Construction Equipment has expanded its mini excavator range with the introduction of three new D Series models: the CX30D, CX34D and CX38D. First showcased at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026, the excavators feature a zero-tailswing design that allows operators to work efficiently in confined spaces while maneuvering more easily around buildings and other obstacles.
Designed Around the Operator
CASE has prioritized operator comfort on the new 3-ton mini excavators with an automotive-inspired cab, ergonomic controls and a suspension seat. The machines also incorporate a tilting cab and accessible maintenance points to simplify servicing.
Features Tailored to the Job
Standard features vary by model to support different applications. The CX38D comes equipped with a long arm, thumb bracket, hydraulic auxiliary flow control and electronic throttle control with auto idle. Enhanced lighting packages are standard on the CX30D and CX38D, improving visibility when daylight is limited. A two-piece roll-up front window provides clear sightlines while allowing operators to communicate more easily with personnel outside the cab.
Ready for a Wide Range of Attachments
CASE designed the new D Series machines to support a broad selection of attachments, making them suitable for applications ranging from excavation and trenching to land clearing and material handling.
An available 6-way dozer blade expands the CX38D's capabilities, allowing operators to tackle more jobs with a single machine. Multifunction one- and two-way hydraulics, combined with a second auxiliary hydraulic circuit, help streamline attachment changes. For jobs requiring additional hydraulic performance, an optional third hydraulic circuit and constant-flow circuit are available. Each model is equipped with a hydraulic pin grabber coupler provision for faster attachment changes.
