🎯 Objective

 

Players must evaluate changing weather conditions and choose the safest equipment strategy.


How to Play

  1. Read the weather + jobsite scenario.
  2. Choose the best course of action from the options.
  3. Compare your answer to the explanation.

Scenario 1 — Heavy Rain Overnight

You arrive at a residential excavation site after 12 hours of heavy rain. Soil is saturated and trench walls look unstable.

What do you do?

A) Begin digging carefully to stay on schedule
B) Switch to lighter equipment and continue
C) Inspect soil stability and delay trench work
D) Dig faster before conditions worsen


Scenario 2 — High Winds on Lift Day

You’re scheduled to lift HVAC units with a crane. Wind gusts are reaching 30–35 mph.
